How I coach
My Approach
I work with you when you want
to make a big professional change, like starting a new
business, taking your established business to the next
level, finding a new job or career, or increasing your
success in your current organization. Sometimes you
might not know how you want to change - you just know that
you don't like your current situation, and that's ok too.
My approach to coaching integrates sound business
strategy and insightful psychological models.
Typically we start our coaching relationship by discussing
your goals and outlining your strategy for success.
However, if success was just about writing a plan and
following it, you wouldn't need a coach.
Usually once you've decided
on a course of action, you can follow your plan for a short
period of time, but then life gets in the way. Very
quickly, we will delve into the obstacles you are facing and
what it will take to overcome them. This will include
sharing exercises and techniques you can apply to daily
situations, and supporting you as you progress. I
strongly believe that personal growth is
key to successful professional change, and the topics I
cover range from strategy, business processes, and effective
communication to dealing with procrastination, challenging
relationships, and fear. Typically I introduce
topics and exercises as they become relevant to your
situation, but you always have the final say on the agenda
and direction of our work together.
