The coaching process starts
with vision, goals, and strategy, then quickly
moves to the more tricky mechanics of implementation.
Most owners are so involved with daily operations that it is
difficult enough to find time to think strategy, and much
harder to find the energy to implement a new business
initiative. When business is slow, it's often hard to
find the motivation to get out and sell, or to know which
method will yield the desired results.
So, in the second phase
of the
coaching program for business owners we take a look at
what is going to get in the way of your plan, and develop a
support and accountability program that fits
you. We also look at what conditions might call for a
big change in your plan, so you can keep it dynamic and in
synch with the environment you work in.
What's particularly unique
about the Aspyrre coaching process is we do NOT separate
business development from personal development. You probably started
your business for personal reasons, and you frequently deal
with difficult people and personal challenges. Through
the coaching process you may opt to work on improving
business relationships, examining your values, building your
confidence, or other personal growth issues.
The beauty of this approach is that when you grow
personally, you interact with world at a higher level, and
you develop the power to make bigger changes in your
business.
The final component of the
business coaching process is support.
You will use some of your regularly scheduled calls for
strategy, some for coaching around a particular situation,
and some for support and encouragement. As a business
owner, it's normal to get scared, worried, overwhelmed, angry,
or just plain lonely. Having someone to talk with
during those times is critical, and it also makes growing
your business fun!
