§  Coach MBA and BSM students and alumni on job transition and career development, enabling them to achieve higher levels of  professional success as a result of their affiliation with Pepperdine.

§  Facilitate career success workshops that teach students and alumni critical career management skills and strengthen their connections with each other and within the Pepperdine community. 

 

Aspyrre Professional Coaching Services, Formerly SynerGence                             2001 – Present

Roles: Owner, Coach, Business Manager

§  Have coached more than 100 professionals and business leaders to date, facilitating clearer vision and goals, insight into personal obstacles, guided perspective changes, and inspiration to create a more authentic and powerful business presence.

§  As 2007 President of the Orange County Chapter of the International Coach Federation, inspired the team to put on a cutting edge event to bring awareness of coaching to the business community in just three weeks, which won the chapter an international “Finding your Voice” award, distinguishing us amongst 150 chapters worldwide. 

§  Developed a Success Team program for NAWBO (the National Association of Women Business Owners), where women business owners are coached in groups, providing a supportive environment that reduces stress and accelerates their business success.

 

Kingston Technology                                                                                                     1992 – 2001

($2 billion computer memory manufacturer)

Roles:  Product Marketing Manager, Project Manager, Product Engineering Specialist

§  Created trainings, written materials and configuration models that were recognized industry-wide as the source of information on computer memory, substantiating Kingston as the number one brand world-wide.

§  Distinguished and launched two specific product segments to serve customer needs: a high-end server memory line for mission critical corporate systems, and the “ValueRAM” line for retail and consumer channels. These initiatives significantly increased penetration in both markets.

§  Managed a data-mart project that enabled Kingston to analyze sales data in near real time, and quickly respond to changes in the market.

 

H. L. Yoh Company                                                                                                        1986 –1992

($25 million technical services firm, providing engineers on contract to aerospace and other industries)

Roles: Recruiter, Administrative Manager

§  Learned and taught other recruiters how to use one of the first automated resume retrieval systems, enabling us to find candidates for open positions faster. 

§  Developed a database that enabled sales managers to track customers and follow up more consistently.  Trained users nationwide, and received a national award for Personnel Development.
