While we don’t have a lot of control over the situations we find ourselves in, we can greatly reduce our stress by paying more attention to the stories we tell ourselves about those situations. In this short video class, we give an overview of the “Situations and Stories” concept and provide you with an exercise you can use to identify the habitual thinking pattern that causes most of your stress, and some initial steps on how to change it:
Mark your calendars for our November 8th learning forums – where we will customize the exercise to those of you who join and have a discussion that will give you clarity and a personal stress reduction plan – just in time for the holidays!
In Person Session:
Date and Time: Wednesday, November 8th from 8am to 10am
Location: Webster University, Irvine Campus, 32 Discovery, #250, Irvine, CA 92618
Phone Session / Webinar:
Date and Time: Wednesday, November 8th at 12pm pacific time / 3pm eastern time
Location: Call in information will be e-mailed to you when you RSVP
Each of us has a unique thinking and behavior pattern we fall into when we experience stress. Unfortunately this pattern often invokes more stress instead of calming things down! In this session you’ll identify your unique stress management pattern, and make conscious adjustments so you can be well prepared the next time stress hits!
RSVP Required by Monday, November 6th at 8:00pm
There is no charge to participate in either of these sessions, but we do need your RSVP in order to prepare. Please e-mail Nahid directly to let us know if you will attend, and specify whether you will be attending the in person or phone session.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
