Career Discovery Workbook:
This workbook includes my favorite self-assessment which is based on the principles in Richard Bolles’ famous What Color is Your Parachute series. Click here to Download. Using “in my element” stories, you are able to identify moments in your life when you are proud of yourself (most likely using your strengths) and when you are enjoying yourself (an indication of your core values). Where these two situations cross are clues to the type of work you will find inherently most fulfilling, and the type of work environment in which you will most thrive.
If you would like guidance as you work your way through the exercises in the workbook, simply send an e-mail, and we can support you with anything from a quick answer via e-mail, to a more formalized coaching support system.

This is a document that helps you prepare for a behavioral interview. Click here to download. I got it from a great website called Quintessential Careers, and they have many other resources available as well. A behavioral interview is how most people interview these days – they will ask you to think of a time when you were in X situation, and how did you handle it? The way to prepare is to have several situations already thought of where you had to handle a number of things. This way when you interview, it will be easy to remember and you have less of a chance of getting flustered, not really being able to think of a good answer, and then being embarrassed. Usually I find I have a hard time thinking of these things on the spot – but give me an hour and I’ll come up with several great examples. In the interview you don’t have an hour – but if you prepare, you’ll have these at the tip of your tongue.
