Why do we use the enneagram at Aspyrre? How does your ennea-type correlate to your personal development theme, and goals for the year?
The enneagram is a great tool to use when you are interested in doing deeper personal growth work, to get more clarity on obstacles that may be holding you back from experiencing life the way you most want to live it.
If you’ve taken a needs assessment, the unmet needs you’ve identified will often relate to your enneagram score. If are doing belief work, you can use the enneagram to identify core beliefs and survival strategies that you may not have noticed just from self-observation. If you are using the immunity to change process, you will often find that the underlying conflict you discover is supported by assumptions that correlate directly to your enneagram type.
This class is approximately 20 minutes, and explains what the enneagram is, and how you might use it to deepen and complement the personal development work you are doing in the Aspyrre program, or if you are not currently an Aspyrre member, it will give you an overview of the tool as well as a sense for how we use it here at Aspyrre.
When you are done, you may want to watch one of the other Aspyrre Enneagram video classes:
Aspyrre pre-recorded Enneagram Classes:
Enneagram – The Journey – An Aspyrre class that gives you an overview of the life journey for each enneagram type. See if you can find yourself in the stories!
Enneagram – Core Motivations – This class will help you with the process of figuring out your type, by honing in on a “core sense” or motivation that drives each type. It also reviews the step by step process you might go through as you are deciding what type you are.
Enneagram – Nature and Nurture – This class offers some ideas about how your type might have been formed in childhood. You should know that I made some of this up – but I think what I added improved the theory tremendously, and it gave me a lot of additional clarity about the system as a whole.
